Introduction
The Commuter Transit Card makes it easy to use your employer subsidy and pre-tax dollars to purchase Valley Metro Passes. Before purchasing your transit passes, Enroll in the Commuter Transit Card.
Purchasing Valley Metro Transit Passes
This transit agency offers online purchasing options. For the most flexible experience, the online purchasing option is recommended.
Please Note
- Passes purchased online are NOT downloadable or available to print.
- Please allow 5-7 business days for processing, not including delivery time.
- Orders for 20 (or more) passes or $100 (or more) are shipped via Fed Ex and require a physical address and not a P.O. Box.
- Any Fed Ex packages delivered opened or tampered with should be rejected.
- Valley Metro cannot offer refunds, exchanges or replacements for passes that are lost, stolen, damaged, unused or accidentally ordered.
Follow these steps to purchase your transit passes:
1. Visit https://www.valleymetro.org/ and hover over Fares. Click Order Online.
2. Choose your desired pass type and enter the desired quantity.
3. After choosing your desired pass type and quantity, scroll to the bottom and enter your delivery details. Click Continue.
4. Confirm your order details and click Submit.
5. You will be routed through a Payment Gateway Transfer. If you're not automatically routed through, click the Send button.
6. Verify your billing information and purchase amount, then click Next. If you elected the virtual Commuter Transit Card option, follow the instructions in this article to find your card details.
Note
You will need to enter your company's billing address details, which can be found on the Commuter Cards page of your Commute Hub.
7. Enter your Commuter Transit Card details, then click Next to confirm your purchase and generate a receipt.
