Introduction
Depending on the type of purchases you will be making with your Commuter Card (online or in-person at a transit kiosk), you may find that a physical card will better fit your needs. If you originally elected a virtual or physical card but would prefer the alternative, follow the instructions in this guide to request a new card format.
Requesting a new Card Format
1. Log in to your organization's Commute Hub.
2. Choose the Commuter Cards option from the sidebar.
3. From there, you should see your Commuter Card with the option to View Details or Deactivate and Replace. Choose Deactivate and Replace.
Warning
Deactivating and replacing your card will result in immediate deactivation, you will not be able to use your card until the new one has been shipped to you or is available virtually.
4. Select a Replacement Reason from the dropdown menu.
5. Under Card Format choose your preferred card type. If you're switching from a Virtual to a Physical card, you'll be prompted to enter your shipping address.
Note
For a new election, you will receive your physical card 7-10 business days after the election period closes (the 15th of the month you enrolled). If you are replacing your card but have already had an active election cycle, you will receive your card within 7-10 days of the replacement request.
6. Click Save.
